Purpose of the Pre – Training Review (PTR):

A pre-training review [PTR] is a process undertaken to determine the most suitable and appropriate course and training for an individual. At Job Training Institute (JTI) Pty Ltd the pre-training review (PTR) is used to determine your current competencies and is an essential component of the selection process. Identify the support needs and assessing the student Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN). JTI will also provide you with the LLN Robot link to complete your LLN assessment as part of PTR. LLN is not a barrier for the enrolment. The purpose of the LLN assessment is to assess the academic support or the LLN support that the student requires during the study with JTI. The information gathered from the PTR and the LLN assessment will assist in determining your training and assessment support and training needs. After completing the LLN assessment, JTI will inform the decision via email or during PTR interview. All information will be kept confidential under the JTI privacy policy and procedure.
