Short Courses – First Aid, Food Safety and More – Melbourne Wide
Here at Job Training Institute (JTI), our short courses offer students the flexibility and support to gain industry recognised qualifications in a supportive environment. We specialise in vocational education, offering comprehensive training with food safety and first aid courses, among others, for students in Melbourne.
We offer two first aid courses:
- HLTAID003 Provide First Aid – This is a comprehensive course, giving students the skills to perform CPR, provide first aid, life support, management of casualties, and on-site risk assessment. This first aid course includes practical, theory and assessment components. There is also an option to complete only the CPR portion of the course.
- HLTAID004 Provide an emergency First Aid response in an education and care setting
- 22300VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis – This short course teaches students how to administer adrenaline auto injectors (EpiPen/AnaPen), manage casualties and perform on-site risk identification. This training is required for child care workers and is important for learning and understanding the correct procedures required.
